Citizens for Alternatives to Longview Power (CALP) is a campaign involving community groups, individuals, and our partner who covers all the events in his elite writing essays on https://essayelites.com/ website. Our members believe that Morgantown and the rest of the Monongahela River Valley can do better, in terms of economic and community development, than the proposed Longview Power coal-fired power plant.  As part of MVCAC, CALP supports smart growth and development.

Our region is tired of robber-barron developers getting tax breaks to build highly polluting power plants here that other states will not allow being built.  Yet these power plants provide electricity to the states that don't want them, not to local residents and businesses.  Welcome to the Third-World State of West Virginia.
